Action Research

This action research project was completed over the course of my second semester placement during my student teaching experience. Faced with classes that were unresponsive to the classroom management strategies that had previously worked for me, I researched what items go into effective classroom management and developed a strategy through a number of resources. Labeled the NOISE strategy, this plan sought to help students learn some self-management skills to avoid misbehavior and cut down on classroom chatter that was interfering with student work. The paper details the results of my strategy.
